The Road to Success<br />
The <strong>Vega</strong> loan unit is configured<br />
to demonstrate all the primary<br />
capabilities and features of the<br />
whole product and <strong>Snell</strong> is offering<br />
a free unit for three months to onboarding<br />
partners.<br />
The demo unit we supply includes<br />
a redundant power supply,<br />
cross-point and controller card<br />
and comes configured as a 16<br />
x 16 router. Eight of the inputs<br />
and outputs are coaxial copper<br />
(HD BNC) and the other set of<br />
eight inputs and outputs are fiber<br />
(using standard 1310nm lasers<br />
for the outputs). All 32 ports are<br />
implemented using sixteen SFP<br />
plug-in modules. The remaining<br />
60 ports are blanked. These can<br />
easily be enabled at a later date<br />
by purchasing additional rear<br />
modules and SFP plug-ins.<br />
The on-boarding process has been designed<br />
with the tools and resources required to sell<br />
and support <strong>Vega</strong> effectively. As part of<br />
<strong>Vega</strong> On-Boarding, you will need to ensure<br />
that at least one sales person and one<br />
technical person are trained on <strong>Vega</strong>. The<br />
training comprises two courses (overleaf),<br />
which are available on-line and will take<br />
between one and two hours to complete.<br />
Many customers will want to see the<br />
remarkable capabilities of <strong>Vega</strong> As part of<br />
<strong>Vega</strong> On-Boarding, you will receive a free<br />
loan unit for three months, after which the<br />
unit will be available for purchase at a very<br />
special one-time offer price of 15,000 USD.As<br />
part of <strong>Vega</strong> On-Boarding you agree to demo<br />
this unit with at least 2-3 customer prospects<br />
per month during the loan period and to<br />
report on this activity back to <strong>Snell</strong>. You can<br />
do this by submitting the Monthly Pipeline<br />
Report form to the Advantage Program help<br />
desk. This form can be downloaded from the<br />
asset library on our partner portal at www.<br />
snellgroup.com/advantage.<br />
The scale of opportunity with <strong>Vega</strong> depends<br />
very much on your size and customer<br />
base, however with <strong>Vega</strong> we would expect<br />
that most of our partners would be able<br />
to sell several tens of units or more per<br />
year which should represent a significant<br />
revenue stream. It is not uncommon for new<br />
customer builds or expansion projects to<br />
require ten or more units of a particular type<br />
in a single order.<br />
