An hydraulic control valve is provided for the infeed belt to step at required stops. So, the length of the cut-offs (logs) can be adjusted at wish between 200 and 550 mm by simply setting the valve to a different position before starting the machine. Timber jamming during sawing is fully prevented through the construction type.
