operation by one-man only.
Pivoting fixation-bracket
facilitate handling and replacing
of the splitting tools.
Powerful electric motor
kW input power.
Type KSA 450 EZ equipped with
automatic delta/star switch
for very convenient machine
start-up.
Oil cooler for continuous operation
KSA 450 Z and 450 EZ models
are equipped with a standard oil
cooler for trouble-free, continuous
operation even at high summer
temperatures.
The chainsaw unit is equipped
with a 20” long sword and can be
strictly operated after the chainsaw
has been completely flipped down
(through an hydraulic cylinder).
This provides for both increased operational
safety and undesirable oil
waste. At the same time this system
reduces waste of the guide bar.
4 m long conveyor belt
Swivelling 30° to the sides
and adjustable up and down to
facilitate clearing of the logs.
The belt conveyor is powered by
a gear motor and is equipped
with a switching valve for speed
control and adjustment.
52
An hydraulic control valve is provided
for the infeed belt to step at
required stops. So, the length of
the cut-offs (logs) can be adjusted
at wish between 200 and 660 mm
by simply setting the valve to a
different position before starting
the machine. Timber jamming
during sawing is fully prevented
through the construction type.
An hydraulic spacer is available
on the machine to control rolling
of the cut-offs down into the log
carriage.
By this system even the shortest
timber pieces will smoothly roll
down into the log carriage and
firmly settle straight on the
bottom.
