place of the sale of the premises as a nonrefundable<br />
earnest money deposit towards<br />
the purchase price to be held at the option of<br />
the Mortgagee as liquidated damages for<br />
any default by the successful bidder. The<br />
balance of the purchase price shall be paid<br />
upon delivery of the deed within thirty (30)<br />
days of the date of the public auction. The<br />
successful bidder shall be required to sign a<br />
Memor<strong>and</strong>um of Sale at the public auction<br />

In the event that the successful bidder at the<br />
public auction fails to perform in the time<br />
specified to purchase the premises, the<br />
Mortgagee reserves the right, at its sole<br />
election, to sell the premises by foreclosure<br />
deed to the other qualified bidders, in<br />
descending order beginning with the next<br />
highest bidder, provided that in each case<br />
the next highest bidder delivers to Mortgagee<br />
the amount of the required deposit within<br />

be leading a paddle down the Quinebaug<br />
River Water Trail, from Fabyan Dam to West<br />
Thompson Lake on Saturday, May 1. Please<br />
bring your own canoes or kayaks <strong>and</strong> meet at<br />
Fabyan Dam at 9:30 a.m. This segment is<br />
about five miles long with moving water,<br />
extensive wildlife habitat, <strong>and</strong> no portages. It<br />
is an excellent three-hour outing for paddlers<br />
who are comfortable with moving water. This<br />
paddle is limited to 20 participants, so please<br />

The musical “Godspell” will be performed by<br />

“Godspell” was written by Stephen Schwartz<br />

at the Cherry Lane Theater in<br />
Greenwich Village in 1971. The structure of<br />
the musical is that of a series of parables,<br />
based on the Gospel of Matthew <strong>and</strong> the<br />
Gospel of Luke. These are then intertwined<br />
with exciting pop/rock music set primarily to<br />
lyrics from traditional hymns, <strong>and</strong> include the<br />
parables of “The Prodigal Son” <strong>and</strong> “The<br />
Good Samaritan.” This production is a collaboration<br />
of the Drama Club <strong>and</strong> Music<br />
Department <strong>and</strong> features a cast of more than<br />
150 students, including members from the<br />
