Following tonight’s game at Devonport the
players will be returning to West Park for an
informal get together. All supporters are
invited to join us there from about 9 pm.
The Under 18’s play on Saturday at 12
noon at Devonport Oval, entry by gold coin
donation. Please get behind the boys as they
march on towards the finals.
Our guest at our last home game next week,
August 14, is comedian Andrew Startin,
footy show regular, side splittingly funny
impersonator. Join us for our last coterie
lunch of the season 11.30 for 12 noon. $50
includes lunch, drinks and entry to the footy.

After a very sluggish start the seniors picked
up the tempo and won a hard fought contest
last week. What a great game by Jackson
O’Brien ably supported by Sharmo and after
quarter time another solid team effort
The reserves lost their game in the first
quarter and will need to make better starts in
remaining games.
The under eighteens had a great win following
their lack lustre performance the previous
week and beating North for the first time this
year.
Our women’s team fell just short in their
grand final and unfortunately were off target
with goal kicking having more shots than
Launceston. A very tough pill to swallow
loosing your first game in three years in a
grand final. Nonetheless we are very proud
of their efforts and congratulate Wayne
Walker the coach and all our women on their
performance.
