1 Summary and Conclusion Page 1 1 Summary and Conclusion The first step of the analysis has been the compilation of a synoptic time schedule, where the information of different sources, mainly the surviving witnesses, has been evaluated. The time sequence of the reported events lead to a time dependent steady list. The result of this task is compiled in diagram, ‘Table of time sequence of the capsizing of MV Estonia’. As one important finding, most of the assumptions of the JAIC have been confirmed, as we come to more or less the same conclusions.
