It was all about young talent this April<br />
when the F.A.M.E. Team presented their<br />
very first live show to an audience of their<br />
peers at the Wella World Studio. Led by<br />
mentors Bruno Marc of Marc Antoni and<br />
Errol Douglas MBE this year’s outstanding<br />
F.A.M.E. Team took to the stage in front of a<br />
packed audience. Ticket allocation was free<br />
to existing ClubStar members and quickly<br />
sold out at a bargain £5 a ticket to nonmembers<br />
wishing to sample the amazing<br />
learning opportunities on offer.<br />

& Brooks in London, Olive Tucker of House<br />
of Colour in Dublin, Ross Taylor from<br />
Falltrick’s in Rom<strong>for</strong>d and Kim Rance of<br />
Clipso in Wat<strong>for</strong>d looked like they were<br />
enjoying every second of their debut stage<br />
presentation. The variety of looks and<br />
perspectives on offer illustrated perfectly to<br />
the young audience the breadth of talent<br />
and skill in our amazing industry. Sam<br />
Langers is from Ciente in Berkhamsted and<br />
had this to say about her experience,<br />

Coached and inspired by their creative<br />
mentors the F.A.M.E. Team were on hand to<br />
create amazing textures, beautiful colours<br />
and awesome cuts <strong>for</strong> the captivated<br />
audience. Errol Douglas MBE and fellow<br />
host and mentor Bruno Marc baited the<br />
audience’s appetite <strong>for</strong> future F.A.M.E. Team<br />
events by stating “The best is yet to come!”<br />

What a moment, the first show <strong>for</strong> the F.A.M.E.<br />
Team and what better audience to do it in front<br />
of, ClubStar! Today was one of our biggest tests<br />
so far as we had never per<strong>for</strong>med on stage<br />
together doing hair, there was a lot of excitement<br />
and nerves all rolled into one! We got to the<br />
Wella World Studio at 10am to prepare our<br />
models <strong>for</strong> the 7.30pm start. There were 10<br />
models in all 4 cuts 4 hair-up plus 2 presentation<br />
models. The exercise brought us closer together as<br />
a unit – it was our aim to ensure that everything<br />
was perfect. It was great to see over 130 ClubStar<br />
members in the audience – all young and<br />
enthusiastic – as we are! Our confidence grew as<br />
the evening went on and we felt the warmth from<br />
the amazing audience.<br />
