LATIN AMERICAN MODEL

This concert, which marked the
homecoming of Carlos, was the beginning
of the festivities around the release of his
next studio album titled CORAZÓN. In
addition to the stars who were participating
in the concert at 14 of December, the album
will feature collaborations with Lila Downs,
Ziggy Marley and Romeo Santos. More
information, including release date, which
will be in early 2014, will be announced
soon.
CORAZÓN, the special event and the
album marks the return of Carlos to his
birthplace Autlan, Jalisco, in the south of
Guadalajara. Celebrating his Latin musical
heritage, is this the platform that
demonstrates the influence of Carlos in
Latin music and the new generation of Latin
superstars. Different music genres were
represented like Pop, Rock, Salsa, Hip-
Hop, Folk, Reggae, Traditional and Bachata
SANTANA is currently in his studio in Las
Vegas working on the recordings, which are
produced by Lester Mendez. CORAZÓN
will be a joint release between Sony Latin
Iberia and RCA Records. The executive
production is made on behalf of Carlos
Santana, Clive Davis, CCO of Sony Music
Entertainment and longtime co-operative of
Santana, and Afo Verde, Chairman and
CEO of Sony Music Entertainment Latin
Region, Spain and Portugal.
In 40 years and the same numbers of
albums, Santana has sold over 100 million
records and more than one hundred million
people around the world visited his
concerts.
