Students with Disabilities
The Office for Students with Disabilities provides assistance to qualified students
with special needs. If you are a student or prospective student seeking reasonable
accommodations, you must self-identify and provide appropriate documentation of
your disability to the Office for Students with Disabilities. You are encouraged to
begin this process at least one month prior to the start of the semester in which you
plan to enroll. Students with disabilities who are admitted to a state university, state
college, community college, or a postsecondary vocational institution are eligible
for reasonable substitution for any graduation requirement, or requirements for
admission into a program of study or upper division where such a substitution does
not significantly alter the nature of the program (FS 1007.264-265). Chipola complies
with and supports the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and supports
other federal, state, and local laws that protect the rights of disabled persons. Special
parking permits are also available.

Voter Registration
Chipola offers the opportunity for each student to register to vote in the State
of Florida. You may pick up a Florida Voter Registration Application Form in the
Student Activities Office or in the Office for Disability Services.
