Advising<br />
<strong>Student</strong> Affairs Academic Advisors provide professional academic, career and<br />
pre-enrollment services. The Academic Advisors in <strong>Student</strong> Affairs are available daily<br />
to assist you with the development of your educational and career plans, to discuss<br />
other academic concerns, and to provide transfer and scholarship information. Personal<br />
counseling services are not provided; referrals are made to Bay Care Behavioral Health.<br />

Navigating the Registration process:<br />
Use the online class schedule to plan your classes and be fully prepared for<br />
Registration.<br />
See a <strong>Student</strong> Affairs Academic Advisor or an instructor about two weeks before<br />
Registration begins to check for holds on your record or other problems that<br />
could hinder your ability to register for classes.<br />
Keep accurate records and use your preplanned schedule of classes to register<br />
online if you are eligible; otherwise, make an appointment with your advisor<br />
for assistance with registration.<br />
Complete an unofficial graduation check with a <strong>Student</strong> Affairs Academic<br />
Advisor the semester before you plan to graduate, to make sure you have<br />
completed all requirements and prerequisites for your major.<br />
