Efforts in the Primary Prevention of Violence Against Women (VAW)

practices in the prevention of VAW.
Communities Against Rape and Abuse (CARA) Seattle, Washington
Works with marginalized groups such as minorities, LGTB communities, youth, and people with
disabilities. Prevention activities focus on peer-based education, community organizing, and
promoting cultural competence.
