Horseback Riding for Preschoolers
Private lesson format for ages 3 years to
Kindergarten. Introduction to getting to
know horses & ponies by learning how to
groom, stop, start, and steer them. Games
and activities will be incorporated into the
riding experience. Helmets will be provided
as well as an observation area for spectators
in the indoor arena. 1-hr lessons for 8
weeks are available Mon. through Fri. from
9 am-3 pm. Register at SELREC, then call

preferred day and time.

Mommy & Me Dance (Ages 1-3)
This Integral Dance program is for the parent
and child. It is an artistic and wellness
class that builds strength and flexibilty, as
well as correct body alignment, space,
rhythm, and self-confidence. A great musical
sense accompanies the fusion of dance
styles such as ballet and modern techniques.

Preschool Dance (Ages 3-5)
This Integral Dance program is for the older
preschooler without the parent. Caring attention
will be given to each student by
instructor through her vast expertise as a
world-class dancer, teacher and choreographer
with her company, Dancevert. Build

Safety Town
Safety Town is a nationally recognized
safety awareness and education program
offered every summer. This program has
been developed for children entering kindergarten
in the Fall of 2012. Those entering
first grade will be allowed to enroll if
space permits. Registration is required by
Friday, June 8th. Please register early as
space is limited and sessions fill up quickly.
Residents may start signing up March 19th.
All others must wait until April 2nd to enroll.

Boys and girls both will have the opportunity
to learn the basics of hitting off a tee,
fielding, throwing, and catching. Actual
games will be played and parent volunteers
will be asked to help coach. This program
will be a fun experience providing a healthy
introduction to organized sports, building
self-confidence & self esteem, and learning
social skills & positive peer interaction.
