Cap and Gown<br />
To be tapped for membership in Cap and Gown, an upper division woman must<br />
have attained an over-all grade point average of at least 2.8 and be considered outstanding<br />
in two different fields. The group's purposes are to promote and<br />
maintain a high standard of scholarship, and to develop a finer type of college<br />
woman. Cap and Gown's major projects are a leadership school for outstanding<br />
freshmen and sophomore women, a banquet for its alumnae members, and<br />
the promotion of various cultural activities such as the ballet. Dean Margery Warmer<br />
is faculty advisor to the group.<br />

Membership in Blue Key national honor fraternity<br />
is based on the display of outstanding leadership<br />
in all fields of campus activity. Men tapp d<br />
for membership must have a grade point average<br />
above the all men's average and be considered<br />
outstanding in at least two fields. Each emester<br />
Blue Key sponsors a $50 scholarship for outstanding-<br />
underclassmen displaying leadership potential.<br />
