PHOTOGRAPHY<br />

Introduction to the world <strong>of</strong> photography through the lens <strong>of</strong> the digital camera. Students will learn the operations <strong>of</strong> the digital camera (exposure, framing, cropping,<br />

white balance, megapixels, and printing), the different imaging controls, and production <strong>of</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>essional quality photographs using digital imaging s<strong>of</strong>tware. Students are<br />

required to provide their own digital camera. Grades: Option (A‐F). Degree Applicable Credit. Major, Area <strong>of</strong> Emphasis, and Gen Ed Applicable.<br />

Prerequisite ‐ PHOT 1B with a "C" grade or better. A continuation <strong>of</strong> basic photography with greater emphasis on the technical process <strong>of</strong> fine photographic expression.<br />

Light management, negative manipulation, and the creative print are examined as the basics <strong>of</strong> black and white photography. An adjustable camera with flash is<br />
