Gala Sport Days<br />
Summer Gala Sport Days will be held on Fridays 14 September ,12 October<br />
and 19 October. Boys and girls in Years 5, 6 and 7 have selected from Touch<br />
Football, Alf, Flipper Ball (modified Water Polo) and Diamond Cricket.<br />
Details of venues for each sport will be published in the next newsletter.<br />

SCHOOL COMMUNITY LIAISON OFFICER’S NEWS<br />
I hope that all the Fathers enjoyed their special day on Sunday. The school‟s Gift Stall did a swift<br />
trade last Friday. Again many thanks to the wonderful team of Mums lead by Melinda R, who made it<br />
possible.<br />
The FoM Years 5 & 6 Disco is scheduled for Friday 14 September in the Hall. See attached flyer for<br />
details.<br />
Remember to register for the 2012/13 Swim Club season before 14 September. All the details are<br />
spelled out by Sarah C and Vicki B later in this <strong>Digest</strong>. Last season was superb. Don't miss out.<br />
The Year 5 Camp and 1A Assemblies were highlighted on Monday. Next week‟s assemblies are 3D at<br />
9.00am and Prep C at 10.30am. A reminder that parents are welcome to enjoy their child ‟s<br />
presentations by viewing from the upstairs gallery at the back of the hall and to bring a plate of<br />
sweet or savoury food to share at the morning tea held after the assemblies<br />
Only 3 weeks left of Term 3. I am sure that we are all looking forward to the holidays.<br />

P&C PROJECT PLANNING<br />
The P&C invites any interested members of the school community to submit proposed projects for<br />
review at the P&C Meeting to be held on 19 September, 2012. Projects will be reviewed at the<br />
September meeting and preferred projects will be selected and prioritised at the following P&C<br />
Meeting to be held on 17 October, 2012.<br />
A Project Notification Form is attached to this newsletter. Completed forms can be emailed to:<br />
president@ascotsspandc.com.au or hard copies can be left in the P&C pigeon hole outside the Staff<br />
Room.<br />
All submissions are required by the 18 September, 2012.<br />
