Special Needs Services Taglit Day Program for Young Adults Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Taglit is an individualized day program for young adults that focuses on building independent living skills for each participant. Our program includes health & wellness, volunteering, vocational skills, socializing, and having fun! We use the Youth Lounge as our base but venture into the community daily. Free and open to everyone ARTS Just for Parents How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, starting Nov. 6 Join other parents in this six-week program to learn effective ways to speak with children ages 2-12. This curriculum embraces communication, respect, and patience to help parents approach situations with their children more productively and with less stress. Space is limited—this series can hold up to 14 participants. Price $10 per person All They Do is Play Thur., Dec. 6 • 6:30-8:30 p.m. This workshop will discuss the importance of play in a young child’s learning and what they learn from playing. Understand enriching environments and what children gain from activities such as block building, climbing, and running. Free Enrichment Classes Classes are open to everyone.
