You may have heard, Ken Light, CEO/President<br />
of the <strong>Tucson</strong> JCC, is retiring in the spring of<br />
2013. Over the past three decades, Ken has been<br />
the guiding force behind the JCC, from shared<br />
offices and satellite locations, to today’s state-ofthe-art<br />
facility.<br />
We will celebrate Ken’s <strong>Tucson</strong> legacy<br />
with a gala party, Lighting the J’s Way, on<br />
Saturday, March 16, 2013 and would like you to<br />
join us. The event’s co-chairs are Lex Sears, Phil<br />
Pepper and Jill Rosenzweig.<br />
Proceeds from this event will create the Kenneth<br />
D. Light Endowment Fund and benefit<br />

on building independent living skills for each participant. Our<br />
program includes health & wellness, volunteering, vocational skills,<br />

Born and raised in <strong>Tucson</strong>, Mitchell Kellman attended<br />
Northern Arizona University and received his bachelor’s<br />

Winter Break has never been more exciting at the JCC’s Winter<br />
Camps. Enjoy fun-filled days that include activities such as:<br />
sports, field trips, arts & crafts, and myriad special programs to<br />
turn your winter break into a memorable one. Camps offered for<br />
kids from 2 years to 8th grade.<br />

• ECE Winter Camp (ages 2-5)<br />
• Winter Camp Shalom (grades K-2)<br />
• Winter Wonder Days (grades 2-5)<br />
Winter Camp Tiyul (grades 5-8): Dec. 26-28 only!<br />
• NEW - Overnight Travel Camp – White Mountains with a day of<br />
skiing (grades 4-8): Jan. 2-4 only!<br />
