WHY GEOS?
My name is Alvaro, I’m 18 years old and I’m from Spain. I’ve been in Ottawa twice, so as to
improve my English, and both times I chose GEOS as the place to brush it up at, since it’s much more
than a language school. Apart from learning, you get the chance to meet people from different
cultures all over the world, and you’re given the opportunity to do lots of wonderful activities
together. Besides, the teachers are great and they seem to be like friends, always there to help you
when you need them. Definitely, out of all the schools and academies I’ve studied at, GEOS is the
best one, with really entertaining classes that let you make the most out of every lesson.

When I was choosing a school for my English exchange in Canada from Brazil, I sent emails to
many schools, including GEOS. I remember GEOS was the first to answer me - quite quickly -, so I
thought it would be the perfect school for me, because if I needed any help in Canada, I’d receive it
from Geos. I was totally right. In GEOS Ottawa, I found the perfect place to improve my English skills.
I’ve been assisted any time I needed. I’ve also made friends for the rest of my life. The teachers in
GEOS Ottawa are the best in the world, I’m sure of that, and the school staff is always worried about
the welfare of their foreigner students. That’s why I could feel home during my stay in Ottawa. The school also provides us the
best host family according to our wishes and personality, and I’ll be always thankful to GEOS to have chosen my host parents.
