Appendix A – <strong>International</strong> examinations of UK awarding bodies<br />
Design, Agile Development, Computing Project. Students must<br />
pass all eight modules to be awarded the qualification. The<br />
programme is assessed by assignments and examination.<br />

NCC Education level 5 Diploma in Business IT (L5DBIT)<br />
A one-year, classroom-based academic programme, which<br />
equips students with a critical understanding of the established<br />
principles of computing relevant to the IT and business<br />
industry. Students will develop new skills relevant to the IT<br />
industry and build upon the knowledge gained from the<br />
L4DBIT. The programme is aimed at students seeking to<br />
progress to the second year of a three-year NCC Education<br />
<strong>International</strong> Degree Journey in Business IT, or those wishing to<br />
progress to study at universities with which NCC Education has<br />
articulation agreements. Alternatively, the programme helps<br />
those who are looking to improve their career prospects or gain<br />
employment within the IT sector.<br />
The programme consists of a total of eight core modules:<br />
Professional Issues in IT, Information Systems Analysis,<br />
Dynamic Websites, Database Development and Design,<br />
Business IT Project, Information Systems and Organisations,<br />
Principles of Business Operations, Office Solutions<br />
Development. Students must pass all eight modules to be<br />
awarded the qualification.<br />

NCC Education level 5 Diploma in Business (L5DB)<br />
A one-year, classroom-based academic programme, which<br />

Pre-Master’s in Business (PMB)<br />
This programme is designed to enable students to quickly<br />
bridge the gap between their existing <strong>qualifications</strong> and a<br />
master's programme. Students will upgrade their English<br />
language ability to a level suitable for master's entrance, while<br />
also being introduced to studying business subjects through<br />
the medium of English. After successful completion of this<br />
course, students can continue their NCC Education<br />
Postgraduate Degree Journey with the level 7 Diploma in<br />
Business Management, or apply to one of the universities<br />
which accept NCC Education Pre-Master’s in Business<br />
graduates on to their master’s degree programmes.<br />
The programme consists of the following modules: Pre-<br />
Master’s in Business: English Language level 4, English<br />
Language level 5, English for Academic Purposes 1 and 2,<br />
Developing Study Skills for Postgraduate Learning, Finance and<br />
Accounting, Global Marketing Strategies and Strategic Business<br />

Language level 4, English Language level 5, English for<br />
Academic Purposes 1 and 2, Developing Study Skills for<br />
Postgraduate Learning and one of the three business modules.<br />

Pre-Master’s in IT (PMIT)<br />
This programme is designed to enable students to quickly<br />
bridge the gap between their existing <strong>qualifications</strong> and a<br />
master's programme. Students will upgrade their English<br />

NCC Education level 7 Diploma in Business Management<br />
(L7DBM)<br />
The level 7 Diploma in Business Management is designed to<br />
develop a student’s career in management. The programme<br />
covers a wide range of contemporary issues and develops the<br />
critical, analytical and technical skills needed for senior<br />
management positions. The programme will also develop the<br />
academic skills required for further study at master’s level.<br />
NCC Education also works in conjunction with a number of UK<br />
universities, to deliver MBA and MSc programmes for PgD BM<br />
graduates.<br />
The programme consists of eight core modules as follows:<br />
Information and Knowledge Management, <strong>International</strong><br />
Marketing Strategy, Management, Control and Accountability<br />
for Financial Resources, Managing People in Organisations,<br />
