activities, and to take responsibility for your academic goals. During the next two days, student leaders, faculty and<br />

staff will provide support and direct you to resources th<strong>at</strong> will help you during your college career. The enclosed<br />

schedule is specifically designed to give you the tools to help you succeed during your first semester <strong>at</strong> UH <strong>Hilo</strong> and<br />

how to utilize the student inform<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

system known as STAR. Utilizing STAR<br />

in conjunction with regular meetings<br />

with your faculty advisor will keep<br />

you on track toward gradu<strong>at</strong>ion. For<br />

students who transferred in with prior<br />

college credits, this session will help<br />

you understand your TCE (Transfer<br />

Credit Evalu<strong>at</strong>ion).<br />
