Dynamic leasing activity, especially during H2 2010, saw 1,469 leases signed in 2010 (vs.1,151 in 2009). This demand was driven by large national and international retailers seeking to accelerate their European development in prime shopping centres with outstanding locations in the continent‟s major cities. Lease renewals and re-lettings showed a strong rental uplift with an average of 18.3% in 2010. In H2 2010, the average uplift was 20.2%, compared to an average of 16.5% in H1 2010. The rotation rate continued to increase and stood at 8.1% in 2010. The vacancy (4) rate is stable compared to 2009 at 1.7%. The average OCR (2) , at 12.0%, also remains at the same sustainable level as last year.
