Philips presented donation to the
Thai Red Cross

management team, presented a donation
worth 1 million Baht to (third from left) MR
Priyangsri Watanakun, assistant secretarygeneral

Bureau of Thai Red Cross Society. Of the total donation
of 1 million Baht, it comprised of cash donation from staff
and Philips, medical equipment (i.e heartstart defibrillator)
and Philips energy saving lamps. This donation program,
part of the company’s 60th anniversary activities, aimed
to support the Thai Red Cross’s activities to help improve
health and well being of Thai people.

RECO Competition Gains Interest
of Dutch Ambassador
Mr. Apiwat Yodpraphan (left) a judge at the RECO final
chats with Ambassador Boer Indorama Ventures held the
final round of our RECO fashion and furniture competition
in March at Digital Gateway Siamsquare. The contenders
for the furniture and accessories award were displayed
at the entrance of the department store.
We were proud that the fashion show
was keenly attended by VIP guest H.E.
Mr. Joan A. Boer, The Netherlands’s
Ambassador. All the judges were there
to see the final turn as a series of Thai
supermodels paraded the 15 final
entries. The enthusiasm of the audience
was amazing as the designs made from
reused polyester and recycled plastic.
