Thank you for a wonderful year at CHS PTSA. I was privileged to
serve with an All Star Board. Each person put considerable time
and effort into making sure they did a stellar job, but they made it
look effortless.

Commencement Reception
Belinda Check, Chairperson
On June 6th, Copley High School PTSA hosted a reception
following Commencement. Many thanks to all who donated cases
of water and/or cookies. They were much appreciated by all those
in attendance. A special thanks to :
• The Dichlian family who donated the delicious
Hershey chocolate treats.
• Debbie Dugan, Sue Gigliotti, Teresa Isler, Kay
Makishi, and Jodi Vrabec for their assistance with
set-up and their help during the reception.
• Our terrific custodial staff for their support during
both set-up and clean-up.
• The wonderful cafeteria staff for graciously
allowing us to use their serving trays and coolers.
Staff Appreciation Week

Staff Appreciation was held the week of May 3. The staff enjoyed a
bagel breakfast on Monday as well as lunch items on Wednesday.
Thank you to all the PTSA members who baked desserts. The
desserts were greatly appreciated by all! A special thank you to
Jeanne Alexander for helping with lunch on Wednesday. The week
went great thanks to the help of PTSA.

THANK YOU
After a year of fundraising and planning, After Prom 2010 was
held on Saturday, May 29th. The commons was decorated
using the theme “A Night Under the Big Top.” Students
enjoyed casino games, inflatables, a senior photo wall, money
machine, raffle prizes, air brush tattoos, a photo booth, gift
bags, food, comedian/magician performance and more. It is
the hope of the PTSA that CHS seniors and their guests had a
great time at this memorable, drug and alcohol free event.
After Prom would not be possible without the generous
donations made by senior parents and local businesses as
well as the gifts of time and talent given by our parent
volunteers. We sincerely thank all of our committee chairs and
their MANY volunteers.

Congratulations to Greg & Sharon Schott, winners of the
PTSA Commencement Ticket Raffle! The Schott’s are parents
of CHS Senior, Andrew, and won four reserved seats as well
as a reserved parking space to Commencement 2010.
