The CHS PTSA is planning the second annual Extreme Garage Sale to benefit After Prom
2011. When you’re cleaning out your closets this spring and over the summer, please
consider setting aside some items to donate to this fundraiser.
Suggested items are: furniture, small appliances in good working order, sports
equipment, tools, jewelry, books, home décor, toys, CDs, DVDs, electronics, office
equipment, adult and children’s clothing.
Drop off dates and times:
Thursday, August 5th 9 a.m.—3 p.m. & 6 p.m.—8 p.m.
Friday, August 6th 9 a.m.—noon
Be sure to stop by the Extreme Garage Sale on August 7th to check out all of the great
bargains!

Barnes & Noble BookFair Fundraiser

Our dabbling into a new form of Barnes & Noble fundraiser was a success earning about $200 for AfterProm. The BookFair enabled
students to purchase their required reading without ever going to the store. The pre-ordered books have been received and delivered
to students at school. We'd like to thank both the high school and middle school office staff for helping with the collection of order forms
and the distribution of books to students. We'd also like to thank the teachers who made their reading lists available to us. Barnes &
Noble has offered to run the program again in the fall for required reading needed during the school year. Watch Smoke Signals for
