<strong>Copley</strong> High School Student<br />
State Novice Debate Champion<br />
On Saturday, April 19, 2008, members of the <strong>Copley</strong> High School’s speech and debate team competed at the Ohio<br />
High School Speech League State Novice tournament at<br />
Hathaway Brown. Freshman Lear Jiang, who had already<br />
qualified and competed at the OHSSL State Speech finals in<br />
March, competed in Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Lear went 4-0 on<br />
the day to become the State Novice Debate Champion. Sahand<br />
Farahati and Irtaza Haider came in 2nd place in the Public<br />
