The <strong>Waller</strong> JV won 51-19. Contributing to their win was Tiara Nunn with 21 points, Kara<br />
Beckmeyer with 15, and LaPrincia Jackson with 11. The freshmen’s 42-28 victory was led by Asja<br />
Jackson with 18 points and Bianca Henderson with 10 points.<br />
On Friday night, December 9 th , the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Brenham for the 2 nd game of district<br />
and competed for four tough quarters. Brenham took an early lead, but <strong>Waller</strong> fought back. By the<br />
half, Brenham was up 19-17. <strong>Waller</strong> came out in the 2 nd half ready to work. Both teams put up 21<br />
points in the 2 nd half making for an exciting finish. Despite the tremendous effort by the Lady<br />
Bulldogs, the Cubettes proved too much and took a 40-38 victory over <strong>Waller</strong>. Brittany Houle put<br />
a double-double with 13 rebounds and 10 points. Lydia Brooks added 9 points, and Briana<br />
Knowles pitched in 7.<br />
The <strong>Waller</strong> JV put up an outstanding performance against the Brenham Cubettes with a 38-26<br />
come from behind win. They are now 2 and 0 in district. The freshmen had a rough night getting<br />
outscored 44-8. They are now 1 and 1 in district.<br />
The <strong>Waller</strong> High School Lady Bulldogs are now 1 and 1 in 17-4 District and will compete against<br />
Montgomery on Tuesday night, December 13 th , at <strong>Waller</strong> High School.<br />
