WISD Public Information
Seniors Jill Loukanis and Tori Bradbury have both signed a letter of intent to play girls athletics in
college. Jill has committed to University of Dallas to play softball as their pitcher. Jill plans to
study physical therapy, ultimately becoming a physical therapist as her career choice. Jill has
played softball since she was six years old, and started pitching at ten years old and has
strengthened her pitching talent by playing for select teams throughout the years. Jill attended
Rosehill Christian School through 7 th grade and transferred to Waller Junior High her 8 th grade
year. Jill attended Waller High School all four of her high school years. Jill was attracted to the
college for their academic and softball programs. She also liked the atmosphere, “not too big and
it’s comfortable like home,” she said. Jill will start a short fall season in late August.
Tori Bradbury has decided to continue her Lady Bulldog journey as she has signed with Navarro
College bulldogs in Corsicana, Texas. Tori will be playing volleyball middle position for the twoyear
college. Tori plans to study biology with the goal of becoming a game warden. She loves to
hunt and fish as a hobby with her dad, Robert. Robert said “I’m thrilled!” when asked how he feels
about Tori’s choice of playing at Navarro College. According to Navarro College, the college was
recently named “The Fastest-Growing Public Two-Year College in the Nation” by Community
College Week.
