PANTI & HEIDI KONNT
From the underbelly of glamour and controversy, the cream of Tranny
Ireland administers legal highs that won’t get you down. Panti Bliss,
the Queen of all things gay and beautiful.... and Heidi Konnt, who is
just a konnt. Individually both Panti (Ruler of Alternative Miss Ireland
and Star of the hit shows In these Shoes and All Dolled Up) and Heidi
(Winner Alternative Miss Ireland 2005, RTÉ’s The Savage Eye) have
attracted critical acclaim from all manner of press and even Trinity
Scholars. Together they tear it up in this very rare sharing of the one
stage. Wigs will fly in this very special evening of the sort of thing
you won’t find on RTÉ. This is serious tranny cabaret. Political, sick,
fabulous and darn right funny.
Patti Plinko
and her Boy
After the success of their self released album Bohemian
Suicide, gaining critical acclaim with sell out shows
around Europe, manic chanteuse Patti Plinko (she also
plays the ukulele!) and her Boy look set to continued
success. Patti’s mesmerizing, seductive throaty vocals flirt
amongst a fusion of music and cinematic influences from
twisted guitars, violins, beaten pots and whisky bottles to
experiments in vinyl & sound.
Cirque de Légume
Enjoy 50 minutes of comic absurd mayhem as two idiots
put on a Cirque-du-Soleil type show using only a chair and
a box of cast-off vegetables.
Marvel at the Veget-animal! Enthrall at the Leek of Power!
Fantasize over the Onion Strip Tease! In these acts (and
more) the award-winning Cirque de Légume finds a hidden
beauty in cast-off vegetables and shows us how beautiful
life can be if we only stop to play with it.
It is a hilarious love story between two clowns, their
vegetables, and us. A show that visits the margins of
our cast-off, disposable world to discover the wonderful
impermanence of everything and the magic of life that
grows underground and unseen.
