Donations and Memorial Gifts to the LDA Foundation
The LDA Foundation is pleased to continue to
help provide grant funds to support our Mission.
This includes funds to the Louisiana Head Start
Program, which seeks to provide access to care for
kids in our local communities.
Memorial gifts are beginning to be received as
members generously donate in memory of those
whom have passed this year. Included in this article
is a list of those gifts to date. In addition, on the next
page is a form that can be used should you wish to
make such a gift.
The Foundation, already providing individual
grants within our Mission, is currently developing
a group grant application for projects in our state,
such as GKAS, community clinics and educational
programs. Your individual support of the LDA
Foundation is critical so that such grants might
become available.
You should have received your LDA dues
statement. On the front page of that statement is a
space provided for your tax deductible gift to the
Foundation. Please take advantage of this opportunity
and be generous as we all support the charitable
Mission of our Foundation. Together, we do make a
difference. You can also call the LDA office or make
an online donation at any time.

Give Kids A Smile is the main event of National Children’s Dental
Health Month. Give Kids A Smile focuses on providing oral health
education to all children regardless of their economic status and
to draw attention to the ongoing challenges that low-income
families face in finding dental care.
