The Louisiana Dental Assistants Association
(LDAA) and the conference committee are
working together to provide assistants attending
the NODC/LDA Annual Session, April 14-16,
with a Round Table Learning Experience that
combines innovation and product enhancement in
an interesting and dynamic format. This program,
geared toward the administrative and clinical staff,
is offered in a lively three-hour program, inspiring
participation and discussion.
Improving compliance and encouraging patients
through knowledge and product information is an
integral part of the dental staff’s critical role in the
practice. The participants will be introduced to
new products and techniques geared at increasing
their knowledge and productivity in the practice.
The participant will come away energized with
increased awareness of office parameters on key
issues, along with new ideas and product applications
for the practice. Samples will be provided for every
participant. Participants will be at each table for
30 minutes, rotating to the next table and the next
speaker.

“Hot trends and topics in Dental Assisting.”
Kevin will inform us about one of the hottest
trends in the world today: going green.
America, “The Science of Remineralization.”
Annette will explain the caries balance theory
and developing and implementing new and
effective caries preventive care strategies.

Robert will teach the correct methods of
cleaning and sterilization, along with the safest

Treatment Plan Acceptance.” Melissa will
present ways to present treatment to obtain the
highest treatment acceptance.
This one-of-a-kind event will be held Friday,
April 15, 2011, from 9 a.m. to noon, inside the
entrance of the Exhibit Hall at the New Orleans
Morial Convention Center. There will be three
C.E. credits available through the Dental Assisting
National Board, Inc. (DANB).
