Arrive Srinagar<br />
Arrive in Srinagar, the lake city of Kashmir, located in the heart of<br />
the Kashmir valley, at an altitude of 1,730 meters above sea level.<br />
It is famous for its lakes, dotted with shikaras, and the Mughal<br />
Gardens. Transfer to hotel. This afternoon visit the world famous<br />
Mughal Gardens, built by Emperor Jehangir. Enjoy a “shikara ride”<br />
on the picturesque Dal Lake. Overnight stay on houseboat/hotel.<br />
Day 2<br />
Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (56 Kms / 2 Hrs one way)<br />
This morning proceed for a full day excursion to Gulmarg, the<br />
“Meadow of Flowers”, situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters,<br />
and a famous ski resort during the winters. Enjoy leisurely walks<br />
along the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the<br />
snow-capped mountains or enjoy an optional Gondola ride (Cable<br />
Car). Overnight stay at hotel.<br />
Day 4<br />
Srinagar - Pahalgam (94 Kms / 3-4 Hrs)<br />
You will be transferred by road to Pahalgam, the Valley of<br />
Shepherds, situated at the confluence of the streams flowing<br />
from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder river, situated at 2,130 meters.<br />
Arrive and proceed to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to<br />
explore the countryside on your own. Overnight stay at hotel.<br />
Day 5<br />
Pahalgam - Srinagar<br />
This morning is at leisure. Later you will be transferred back to<br />
Srinagar. Rest of the day is at leisure for shopping and your own<br />
activities. Overnight stay on houseboat/hotel.<br />
Day 6<br />
Depart Srinagar<br />
Transfer to airport for your flight back home.<br />
Day 3<br />
Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar (85 Kms/ 3-4 Hrs one way)<br />
Drive through the Sindh Valley, which presents yet another<br />
spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir. Situated at an<br />
altitude of 2,730 meters, Sonamarg, the Meadow of Gold has, in<br />
its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. Optionally,<br />
visit Thajiwas Glacier, a major local attraction during the summer<br />
months. Evening drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at hotel.<br />
