Day 1<br />

Arrive Delhi<br />

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel, rest of the day is at<br />

leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.<br />

Day 2<br />

Delhi<br />

Today you will proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Old and<br />

New Delhi. Visit the magnificent Red Fort, overlooking the river<br />

Jamuna. The tour continues to the Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s<br />

largest mosques, to be viewed from the outside. Later take a joy<br />

ride on a cycle rickshaw through the narrow, bustling lanes of<br />

Chandni Chowk. Later visit Qutab Minar, the tallest stone tower in<br />

<strong>India</strong>. The tour also includes a drive past the imposing <strong>India</strong> Gate,<br />

the Parliament building and the Rastrapati Bhavan, the President’s<br />

residence. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.<br />

Day 3<br />

Delhi - Agra (206 Kms / 3-4 hrs)<br />

Today you will drive to the Mughal city, Agra. Arrive and check<br />

into your hotel. This afternoon, visit the Agra Fort, built by<br />

Emperor Akbar. Proceed to the Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah<br />

Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. This evening<br />

is at leisure for shopping and individual activities. Overnight stay<br />

at hotel. Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.<br />

Day 4<br />

Agra - Jaipur (221 Kms / 5-6 hrs)<br />

This morning you will drive to the Pink City of Jaipur (221 Kms/<br />

5 hrs). Enroute you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red<br />

sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Proceed to<br />

your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Later this evening<br />

you will visit Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic Rajasthani village on the<br />

outskirts of Jaipur. Overnight stay at hotel.<br />

Day 5<br />

Jaipur<br />

This morning visit the Amber Fort, built in the 16 th century and<br />

enjoy an optional elephant ride at Amber. Drive past the Hawa<br />

Mahal, “Palace of Winds”. In the afternoon you will visit the city<br />

palace and Museum and walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar a<br />

17 th century astronomical observatory. Rest of the evening at your<br />

leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.<br />

Day 6<br />

Jaipur - Jodhpur (332 Kms / 7 hrs)<br />

Early this morning you will drive to Jodhpur, enroute you will stop<br />

to visit the holy towns of Pushkar and Ajmer. Visit the Pushkar Lake<br />

and a Brahma Temple in Pushkar, while in Ajmer visit the revered<br />

Dargah of Salim Chisti. Evening is at your leisure. Overnight stay<br />

at hotel.<br />
