Property Values The County’s equalized value is estimated to decline by 6.23% in fiscal year 2013 after declining 6.88% in FY2012 and 4.93% in FY2011. Industry Trends The County has a varied manufacturing and industrial base that adds to its relative stability. Business activity within the County is diverse, including the only Navy basic training base in the United States, an amusement park, and numerous manufacturing firms, real estate developers, retail stores and service providers. The County’s top ten principal employers are listed in the following table. This information includes both the number of employees and the percent of County employment for each organization.
