AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JURUPA VALLEY, CALIFORNIA
ADDING A NEW SECTION 9.10.030, REMOVAL OF CERTAIN HEAVY
INDUSTRIAL USES AS PERMITTED USES, AND ADDING A NEW
CHAPTER 9.20, M-O HEAVY INDUSTRIAL OVERLAY ZONE, TO
TITLE 9, PLANNING AND ZONING, OF THE JURUPA VALLEY
MUNICIPAL CODE, TO AMEND AND SUPERCEDE CERTAIN
PROVISIONS OF RIVERSIDE COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 348
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JURUPA VALLEY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 9.10.030, “Removal of Certain Heavy Industrial Uses as
Permitted Uses” is hereby added to Chapter 9.10 “Amendments to the County Zoning
Ordinance” of Title 9 “Planning and Zoning”, of the Jurupa Valley Municipal Code to read as
follows:
“9.10.030 Removal of Certain Heavy Industrial Uses as Permitted Uses
A. The following uses are removed as permitted uses from Section 10.1, “Uses
Permitted” of Article X, “Industrial Park” (I-P Zone) of Riverside County Zoning Ordinance No.
348:
1. Vehicle storage and impoundment within an enclosed building,
2. Trailer, recreational vehicle, and boat storage within an enclosed building;
3. Warehousing and distribution, including mini-warehouses,
4. Cold storage facilities,
5. Recycling collection facilities
6. Recycling processing facilities
B. The following uses are removed as permitted uses in Section 11.2, “Uses
Permitted” of Article XI, “Manufacturing- Service Commercial” (M-SC Zone) of Riverside
County Zoning Ordinance No. 348:
1. Fabrication of manufactured housing and mobilehome.
2. Fabrication of metal buildings.
3. Vehicles, aircraft, boats and parts manufacture
4. Railroad equipment,
5. Travel trailers and recreational vehicles manufacture,
