Cooks have left a wide range of culinary<br />
traces in Liechtenstein, which is why the<br />
country offers dishes and specialties from all<br />
around the world. But also local dishes like<br />
Käsknöpfle (noodle pasta with cheese),<br />
Schwartenmagen (brawn), and Ribel (local<br />
grain variety) are big hits in local spots and<br />
gourmet restaurants alike. There is an<br />
astonishingly high number of establishments<br />
with Gault Millau points, Michelin<br />
stars and chef’s hats. Hospitality is writ large<br />
everywhere, whether you’re enjoying a tasty<br />
cake according to grandmother’s recipe in a<br />
garden restaurant or a soufflé à la Liechtenstein<br />

Fine wines<br />
The «Föhn» wind casts a spell on Liechtenstein.<br />
Especially winegrowers love the warm<br />
southerly wind, since thanks to the Föhn<br />
and the mild climate, vineyards grow and<br />
thrive particularly well. The world famous<br />
Hofkellerei of the Prince of Liechtenstein is<br />
something special. The grapes from the<br />
Princely vineyards are pressed there. The<br />
wines enjoy an excellent reputation<br />
internationally. Drop by there or another<br />
winery and taste the fine wines. You’ll make<br />
someone very happy by bringing home a<br />
red wine with a fine bouquet, a crisp white<br />
wine, a sparkling Sekt, or a princely Marc as<br />
