Citytrain
Whoever may think Vaduz doesn‘t have a
train is wrong. Every day from Easter to the
middle of October, the Citytrain departs
from the bus terminal below Town Hall in
Vaduz. Passengers young and old enjoy
Vaduz and its surroundings on the 30minute
ride and hear information on the
history of the country, the sites, and the
Princely House.

Birka Bird Paradise
The Birka Bird Paradise between Mauren
and Schaanwald is home to rare birds from
around the world. The facility is in the
middle of a nature reserve with a biotope,
has a large children‘s playground, and is
always accessible. Enjoy paradise – you’ll
hear the chirping of your feathered friends
for a long time to come.
Falconry Center
When the peregrine falcon named Move
dives centimeters past your head at
300 km/h (185 mph) at exactly 3pm in the
Galina Falconry Center, it almost takes your
breath away. Then the golden eagle takes
off, circles majestically overhead, and
returns to the hand of the falconer. The
children‘s favorite is the owl named Kasimir,
the silent night-flyer. During the summer
months, the breathtaking performance in
Malbun lasts 40 minutes or a bit longer
when you go on a trek with the falconer
and his birds of prey.
