Mitigation:
Prior to the issuance of grading permits, a Paleontological Resources Impact Mitigation
Program (PRIMP) shall be submitted and approved by the County Geologist. (COA 60.PLANNING.1)
A copy of the Paleontological Monitoring Report prepared for site grading operations at this site shall
be submitted to the County Geologist prior to grading final inspection. (COA 70.PLANNING.1)
Monitoring: Mitigation monitoring will occur through the Building and Safety Plan Check process.
11. Alquist·Priolo Earthquake Fault Zone or County
Fault Hazard Zones
a) Expose people or structures to potential substantial
adverse effects, including the risk of loss, injury, or death?
b) Be subject to rupture of a known earthquake fault,
as delineated on the most recent Alquist-Priolo Earthquake
Fault Zoning Map issued by the State Geologist for the area
or based on other substantial evidence of a known fault?
County Geologist review (GE002236)
Findings of Fact:
a-b) According to GE002236, there are no active or potentially active faults trending towards or
through the property. The possibility of surface rupture is low. GE002236 recommended that the
upper five feet of soil be densified by removal and compaction to a minimum of 90 percent and the
monopole be placed on a drilled caisson. (COA 10.PLANNING.23) This is not considered unique
mitigation and is not required for CEQA implementation purposes. The project will have less than
significant impact.
Mitigation: No mitigation measures are required.
Monitoring: No monitoring measures are required.
12. Liquefaction Potential Zone
a) Be subject to seismic-related ground failure,
including liquefaction?
County Geologist review (GE002236)
Findings of Fact:
a) According to GE002236, the potential for liquefaction at this site is low. The project will have less
than significant impact.
Mitigation: No mitigation measures required.
