There are several Force.com platform enhancements that support Salesforce1 development.
Access the Salesforce1 App
There are several options for accessing Salesforce1 on mobile devices.
• Install the Salesforce1 downloadable app on Android and Apple ® mobile devices. Users can download the app from the
App Store or Google Play .
• Access the Salesforce1 mobile browser app from a supported mobile browser on Android, Apple, BlackBerry, and Windows
8.1 devices. This option doesn’t require anything to be installed.
