in <strong>Copley</strong>-<strong>Fairlawn</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>Schools</strong><br />
The <strong>Copley</strong>-<strong>Fairlawn</strong> <strong>City</strong> School <strong>District</strong> offers one of the best educational opportunities in the area—something in<br />
which the <strong>Copley</strong>-<strong>Fairlawn</strong> <strong>Schools</strong> Foundation takes great pride.<br />
The <strong>Copley</strong>-<strong>Fairlawn</strong> <strong>Schools</strong> Foundation actively assists students and staff in their pursuit of excellence. The<br />
Foundation awards classroom excellence grants for outstanding educational projects throughout the district. The<br />
Foundation also awards numerous scholarships to graduating seniors.<br />
Since 1992, the Foundation has awarded over 300 scholarships totaling over $175,000 and 61 educational<br />
grants totaling over $41,000.<br />
The Foundation provides assistance to the schools, the classroom teachers, and students to enhance their fi nancial capabilities. Your<br />
membership is an excellent way to become involved in maintaining the quality of education and ensuring the continued growth of excellence in<br />
our schools.<br />
The <strong>Copley</strong>-<strong>Fairlawn</strong> <strong>Schools</strong> Foundation is a non-profi t corporation legally separate from the <strong>Copley</strong>-<strong>Fairlawn</strong> <strong>City</strong> School <strong>District</strong>, with<br />
state and federal recognition as a tax-exempt, charitable organization.<br />
Contributions to the Foundation are deductible for federal and state income tax, estate tax, and gift tax purposes to the extent allowable by<br />
law. The Foundation is governed by its Board of Trustees, all of whom live or work in the school district.<br />
