CHILD FIND – A Search for
All Copley-Fairlawn Children
with Disabilities
What is Child Find?
Child Find is the process of identifying, locating and
evaluating children with disabilities (ages 3-21) who
may be in need of special education services. Many
times students with disabilities are preschoolers and
their parents may not be aware of existing problems
and programs that are available to help.
What does disability mean?
In this situation, disability includes a variety of
conditions such as hearing impairments, visual
impairments, speech or language impairments, specific
learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, multiple
disabilities, mental retardation, physical impairments,
autism, and traumatic brain injury.
How can you help?
If you have a child or know of a child with a disability
who is not being served, please contact the Copley-
Fairlawn Schools’ Pupil Services Department at (330)
664-4855 for additional information and assistance.

school year as soon as possible.

the summer, registration packets are available at the
Board Office, weekdays 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and on the
website www.copley-fairlawn.org

Athletic Ticket Prices and Passes
Copley High School will offer two types of athletic passes to adults/younger students and high school students. The first of
these passes provide 20 admissions to any home high school athletic event; this represents a savings of over 40% on regular
ticket prices. It is available to adults for a cost of $65.00 and $42.00 for C-F students in grades K-8. In addition, the athletic
department will offer a Student Athletic Admission Card to Copley High School students in grades 9-12. This card will get
them into EVERY HOME ATHLETIC EVENT (except for home tournament events) for the 2013-2014 school year for a
cost of $25.00. Passes will be available in the high school athletic
office from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., beginning August 12.

NOTE: Due to a change in policy by the Suburban
League, which became effective August 2004, schools that
are members of the Suburban League are no longer able
to accept Golden Buckeye Cards for admission to league
events. Copley-Fairlawn City Schools invites all senior
citizen residents to pick up sports passes from the Board
of Education office beginning August 12. This pass allows
each senior citizen resident to be admitted free of charge
to all regularly scheduled home sporting events. Presale
tickets are only available for football.
In addition, some schools will charge for middle school and
stand-alone freshman and junior varsity events.
