Instructor Bio: Allison Antoine was first introduced
to French the summer after 5th grade and fell in
love with it. When it was time to choose which
language to study in high school, she immediately
chose French as it was “by far the prettiest language
around.” She thought she would only study three
years of High School French, but after visiting France
for the first time between her junior and senior year
of High School, she was sold. She went to college
at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD where she
obtained majors in French, K-12 education, and a
minor in Spanish. She has been to France four times,
one of which was an extended study abroad period
in college. She worked at a French immersion camp
in college in northern MN and currently assists with
some translation work.
