GED Information
Iowa Lakes prepares students to test for and obtain their GED and to go beyond. If you want to finish your
GED and are interested in furthering your education, or finding a better job, start by sitting down with one
of our Success Center instructors and discussing your options. For more information on how to obtain your
GED, contact a Success Center at any one of our five Iowa Lakes Community College Campus locations.

Don’t stop with your GED, over 70 GED students are enrolled as full or part-time students in a variety of
college programs at Iowa Lakes. We can help you complete your GED at no cost, other than testing, and
successfully transition to college. GED graduates are eligible to receive a $500 scholarship to attend Iowa
Lakes Community College.
