impacts <strong>and</strong> conservation actions at both the project<br />

• Auditing <strong>and</strong> Review: Where significant impacts to<br />
biodiversity are predicted, companies can acquire<br />
or retain biodiversity expertise within audit teams,<br />
ensure that biodiversity issues identified in the ESIA<br />
process are included in audit <strong>and</strong> review programs<br />
<strong>and</strong> incorporate biodiversity criteria <strong>into</strong> existing<br />
performance contracts, to emphasize that focus within<br />
line management.<br />
