The Pneumobelt<br />
The pneumobelt functions by exerting<br />
pressure on the abdominal contents by<br />
inflation of a rubber bladder, forcing the<br />
diaphragm upward and assisting exhalation<br />
(left). When the bladder deflates, gravity<br />
pulls the diaphragm back down, assisting<br />
