All eyes on health<br />
Our eyes are our windows to<br />
the world and we must take<br />
good care of them.<br />
There are many eye diseases<br />
that can occur without any<br />
signs or symptoms in their<br />
early development. And by<br />
the time you discover the<br />
problem, irreversible damage<br />
may have been inflicted to<br />
the eyes. It is therefore<br />
important to see your<br />
optometrist for regular eye<br />
examinations.<br />
The <strong>Keppel</strong> Credit Union<br />
(KCU) has recently tied up<br />
with the New Optometry<br />
and Ocular Care Centre<br />
(NOOCC) to offer KCU<br />
members a special rate<br />
for a comprehensive eye<br />
examination by professionally<br />
trained optometrists.<br />
Launched on 1 <strong>January</strong> this<br />
year, the tie-up will provide<br />
all KCU members an<br />
understanding of general eye<br />
care and to ensure that<br />
everyone has good eye<br />
health.<br />
To help KCU members better<br />
understand the subsidy,<br />
NOOCC and KCU held a<br />
presentation on 29 <strong>January</strong> at<br />
<strong>Keppel</strong> Shipyard’s (Tuas)<br />
Multi-purpose Hall.<br />
