Welcome to 2012• Nobles! First, I’d like to
congratulate our newly elected Potentate,
Divan and Fire Brigade Officers. I’d also
like to welcome our newest Fire Brigade members
and we look forward to having you being with us
this year.
Thanks so much to the members Fire Brigade
for entrusting me with the honor of being elected
as your Chief. I’m next in a long line of dedicated
nobles who have made a difference is many lives. I
hope to make you proud. I’d like to congratulate our
2011 Chief, Noble and Worshipful Robert P. ‘Bob’
Travis, Jr. on a great year and being selected as the
Fire Brigade Noble of the Year award.
The Fire Brigade is a very active unit but we can
always do more. I challenge everyone to step up
your individual and collective efforts in supporting
our noble philanthropy. It’s so much more than the
parades and fellowship. We mustn’t lose sight of the
very core of our mission, the kids! Let’s enjoy more
fellowship in our meetings, parade participation
and Shrine events.
Nobles, we are a part of something so special.
It’s easy to lose focus through life’s trials but
always keep this truth in mind;
regardless of what our trials
may be at any given moment,
there are children who are worse off and whose
quality of life depends solely on our participation.
Think about it, a few hours of active and engaged
participation literally means the world to the
children and their families. Let’s strive to show
them HOW WE ROLL!
We will have a lot of opportunities to participate
in our Unit this year. Looking for a unit to join?
Look no further. Jump on our beautiful 1941 Fire
truck and cruise on by the competition. These
kids light up when they see our big red truck,
dancing Dalmation “The Dog” and hear the rings
of the truck bells. We meet the second Tuesday
of every month at 7pm. Fellowship and dinner is
served promptly at 6:15. If you haven’t checked
out our Facebook page, come on over and “friend”

Provost Guard

The Provost Guard held their annual Christmas Party
and Officer Installation December 17th, when
Captain Larry Hale dismissed his committees and
thanked everyone for all of their support last year.
Installed as Officers for 2012 were Captain
Rob Richards, 1 st Lieutenant Wayne Sherman, 2 nd
Lieutenant Mike Warlikowski, Sergeant Woody
Keating and Secretary /Treasurer Bill Lauterbach Jr.
The Christmas Party was a great success thanks to
Captain Larry and his staff.
We congratulate Illustrious Sir Don Meyers on the
fine job last year and we are fully behind Illustrious Sir
Joe Register and his Divan .
Congratulations to all the new officers in their
clubs and units and lets make

Temple deserve. Illustrious Joe
has set the tone now it is up to
every Shriner to make the year
a true success
We are looking forward to
the first parade of the year, the
St. Pat’s day parade.
Our annual Bar-B-Que will be Sunday, April15th,
2012. Schedule your calendar early.
All Provost members will have tickets and tickets
will be available at the door.
When everything seems to be going against you ,
remember that the airplane takes off against the wind
not with it
We are always looking for a few good men, come
join us, we meet the 2 nd Wednesday, each month at the
Temple. Social is at 6:30 PM.
