NEW
ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR
Welcome Mike Martoccia! As of July 1 st , we have a new Baxter
Village Activities Coordinator, but he’s not new to the neighborhood.
Mike Martoccia is now coordinating our events and activities.
Mike and his wife, Susan, and three kids Cierra, Adam, and Grant
have resided in Baxter for more than seven years. Mike has been
a long-time village volunteer, having coordinated the youth baseball
program for three years, coached the Grapevine softball and kickball
teams, and assisted in the co-founding of the Baxter Village Block
Party each September for the last five years. Mike is the advertising
sales manager at The Charlotte Observer and Charlotteobserver.
com. He’s also been very active in the community, as a graduate
of Leadership York County, former member of the Come See Me
Festival Board of Governors, and member of various other boards
and organizations. He and Susan also teach Sunday School at St.
Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill and have been involved with
the church’s capital campaign in the building of a new church.
While Mike’s 22-year career has been in advertising sales and
marketing, he’s also had extensive experience in event marketing.
He’s been responsible for creating and implementing dozens of
annual events in South Carolina, North Carolina and Indiana over
the last 15 years. Among them are spring and fall festival events
at shopping centers, bridal expos, cooking and lifestyles shows,
women’s expos, the Indianapolis 500 Race Festival For Kids, golf
fundraisers, and others.

Mike is very eager to start serving Baxter in his newest endeavor, is
looking forward to building on the current activities in the year ahead.
He’s also extremely grateful for everything Charlotte Kost did in her
role as the activities director over the last several years, as well as
her great guidance in the transition.

Tennis Court Committee | NEW Online Reservation System
There is a NEW Reservation System in place!! You can now reserve
a court online! Go to reservemycourt.com and register. During the
registration process you’ll be asked for a facility code. It is 1346.
Once you’ve done that you can log in, go to Baxter Village Courts
and reserve a court. There is a once per day, 2 hour imitation.
Reservations can be made no earlier than 14 days in advance.

Reminder from the York County Sheriff’s Office | Automobile
Safety | Lock your Doors & Remove your Valuables
The York County Sheriff’s Office asked the Baxter Community Watch
team to let everyone know that any information about automobile
break-ins should be reported to the police department. Remember
when leaving your car... remove your valuables, pay attention to your
surroundings and most importantly lock your doors!

REMEMBER! 2 nd BI-ANNUAL INSTALLMENT IS DUE MAY 1 st
Master HOA Dues are $800 and paid Annualy or Bi-Annually.
Payments will be handled by the new accounting firm, Duvall CAMS.

How do I access www.BaxterFrontPorches.com?
Just fill out your User Agreement... which can be requested via email
to BaxterNetwork@gmail.com or filled out at the Community Center on
Colonel Springs Way. We will need to verify residency so include your
settlement statement or lease to help propel the process.
When are our Baxter Pools open for Swim Season?
