3. After the pin is free, remove the old suspension line. Place<br />
the new line in the connecting link by inserting the pin into<br />
one side of the connecting link. Using a hammer, drive the<br />
pin in until it is flush with both sides of the connecting link.<br />
M-Strap Replacement<br />
Replace M-straps if they become noticeably worn. M-straps may be repaired, if frayed, by melting the fray<br />
with a lighter to stop the fray from spreading. The length of the M-strap is critical to the proper functioning<br />
of the Bambi bucket and we recommend that you replace worn straps with factory-supplied equipment.<br />
There are two types of straps; long webbing and short webbing. Long webbing are used for the diagonal<br />
straps while short webbing are used for the vertical straps.<br />
Long webbing diagonal straps<br />
Short webbing vertical straps<br />
When replacing straps, do one set at a time to avoid confusion. Cut off the old straps from the shackle and<br />
un-tie them from the top of the bucket shell. Attach replacement straps as per the originals.<br />
