Signage Platform
Omnivex’s Moxie digital signage
platform, based on technologies from
Microsoft, helps improve the process
to develop and deploy digital signage
networks. It enables content developers,
network operators and marketing
managers to take advantage of advances
in Windows graphics capabilities
and network management, and
tie them directly to real-time information.
Moxie uses the same 3D graphics
engine found in Microsoft Windows
Vista and video games. It allows
each display to target messages
to individual viewers based on who
they are, where they are, what they’re
doing and what the location has to
offer. Enhanced graphics capabilities
give writers and designers additional
latitude for creating content. With
fully scalable graphics, one design fits
many different screen resolutions.
Hall Research Technologies’
UV(X)-16X series routes 16 individual
input signals through a 2RU enclosure
and extends them over UTP
cable up to 1000'. The UV1-S-16x
transmits the receiver power and
video (VGA or component) over UTP;
compatible receivers are required to
convert the UTP signal back to VGA.
The UVA-16x transmits the audio and
video (VGA or component) over UTP;
compatible receivers are required to
convert the UTP signal back to VGA
and audio. Optionally, the transmission
of audio can be replaced by serial
(RS232) in the UV232-16x. Hall
Research can build custom units with
less than 16 outputs or a mix of capabilities,
giving the end user flexibility.
Suitable for digital signage applications
as well as rental and staging
venues.
