UV(X)-16X series routes 16 individual
input signals through a 2RU enclosure
and extends them over UTP
cable up to 1000'. The UV1-S-16x
transmits the receiver power and
video (VGA or component) over UTP;
compatible receivers are required to
convert the UTP signal back to VGA.
The UVA-16x transmits the audio and
video (VGA or component) over UTP;
compatible receivers are required to
convert the UTP signal back to VGA
and audio. Optionally, the transmission
of audio can be replaced by serial
(RS232) in the UV232-16x. Hall
Research can build custom units with
less than 16 outputs or a mix of capabilities,
giving the end user flexibility.

their choices of external media inputs.
Hi-def video and graphic content can
be uploaded via the internet or
streamed from DVD or other player
devices through the Ceres-86V’s
composite video input. No software
installation is required, and there are
no licensing fees for the first 3 years.
Hall Research’s Model UV1-S-16X
Scheduling/Uploading of content can
be done remotely from any PC connected
to the internet and at any time
with the username and password.
Setup is easy and it decodes most
video formats, including MPEG1/2/4,
DivX, WMV and AVI. Connection includes
DVI/HDTV, Standard VGA and
a 10/100 network interface.
