Apollo Display Technologies’ Vitrine
Multi-Display Unit
Apollo’s Multi-Display Unit
Vitrine, a plug-and-play digital
signage solution from Apollo Display
Technologies, is a standalone or
wall-mounted multi-display unit with
up to 6 TFT LCDs for indoor advertising
or customer information. It
provides a slim solution for any indoor
area where advertising or information
has to be displayed in a
single location on multiple monitors.
Vitrine’s use of Apollo’s Windowsbased
ArtistaControl-Center software
in conjunction with Apollo’s
ArtistaUSB or ArtistaNET (LAN)
controllers makes Vitrine easy to
use and program from any standard
PC. 1 static image or a sequence
of images as a slide show can be
individually assigned to each display.
AMX’s HD-SDI Boards
AMX has expanded its AutoPatch
Epica Digital Generation (Epica
DG) fiberoptic switcher line with the
addition of HD-SDI input and output
boards, which add support for
HD-SDI and SD-SDI equipment to
the Epica DG line. With these
boards, the Epica DG platform can
convert HD-SDI, DVI and RGBHV
video signals inside the matrix
switcher, allowing any video input
to be routed to any combination of
display outputs, irrespective of the
signal type. This negates the need
for the external video conversion
boxes that are required for other
switchers, which simplifies system
design and installation. The boards
conform with SMTPE 292M
(1.485Gbit/s), 259M (143/270/
360Mb/s) and 344M (540Mbit/s)
frame rates and clocking speeds to
any and/or all output signals.
